Found along Route 66 just west of the New Mexico/Arizona border.
That's the trouble with the way I read Interstate Road signs . . . see, it's only 63 miles from ABQ to Grants (heck that's just my commute to work everyday). Then 12 miles from Grants to Thoreau, but just 8 miles to Continental Divide. And well, heck, it's then only 24 miles to Gallup . . .
Next thing I know, I'm in Arizona! Drove Route 66 all the way back to ABQ as much as was possible. I think this spring/summer I'm going to be concentrating my wanderings West and Southwest.
