Flickr Times Two - Our Photo Galleries
We have two Route 66 photo galleries which display pictures courtesy Flickr.
One of our Route 66 picture galleries appears on the right-hand side of every page throughout the site and is labled "Latest Flickr".
These are the most recent graphics uploaded to Flicker and tagged as "Route 66".
Clicking on any image thumbnail will result in a new browser window or tab being opened and the full-size graphic being displayed. If there are multiple images in the photostream you can scroll through them using the "browse" option of Flickr.
When doing viewing the selected image, simply close the recently opened browser window or tab to return to our site.
The second Flickr gallery is larger, much larger and features a wide selection of images tagged "Route 66" or "The Mother Road".
This second picture gallery is available from the "Pages" menu and is titled, "Route 66 Pictures".
Clicking on this menu selection will display 30 thumbnails from which you may select a graphic to view by simply clicking upon it.
Clicking on any thumbnail will display the full-size picture and any description and other information provided by the image owner/copyright holder.
Clicking on the enlarged image will close that image and display the thumbnail screen once again.
We are currently displaying 20 screens of 30 thumbnails each for the tags of "Route 66" and "The Mother Road", so there are plenty Route 66 images to catch your attention and imagination.
The default tag is "Route 66".
At any time you may click on the tag, "The Mother Road" to view a different set of image thumbnails, most of which are Route 66 oriented, some of which are not.
In any case, never let it be said that we failed to provide pictures, lots and lots of pictures...
